Singapore Tourism Board inks deal with Barbie to shine spotlight on local artists
Description
The world's most famous doll is getting a Singapore-style makeover. As part of its 60th
anniversary, Barbie will be dressed up in outfits designed by local artists and designers.
Some designs include a garden dome inspired outfit, and a chicken rice outfit crafted and
moulded with clay. Some 60 dolls are on display at the Street Superior Festival. The showcase
is organised by the Singapore Tourism Board and Barbie and will be on display till end November.
