Description
After the Winter War had ended between Finland and the Soviet union in March of 1940, there was growing anxiety about defending the new borders, after the fortifications on the Karelian Isthmus had been lost. The construction of a massive defensive line, along the eastern border of Finland, was completed.
This is a visual tour of one part of these remaining Finnish fortifications.
